With over 15 million views across social media, this was an immensely successful piece of digital content for Ancestry DNA. We asked children and their parents from a primary school in North East London where they thought the parents were from. After testing the parents, we got the children to reveal their own parents’ results, ending with a pretty remarkable discovery. After its huge and immediate success, the video was repurposed as a TVC for the US market.
